This is a completely unique Anchor and Chain pendant, a new experimental design I made by hammering and soldering separate pieces of very thick solid .925 sterling silver wire. I have assembled them into the shape of a traditional ships anchor, complete with hammer marks for a weathered texture, twisted silver "rope" and little silver "barnacles." The centre of this chunky pendant is a large, glossy, peridot green lampwork bead, speckled with shades of blue, in the shape of a scallop shell, which completes the nautical theme. Both the shell and the upper cross bar of the anchor rotate around the central wire, so this pendant is perfect for people who like to fiddle with their jewellery. This pendant is mounted on a hand crafted and hammered sterling silver bail. It measures 50 mm or 2" in length and is supplied ready to wear with a 450 mm sterling silver chain.
