Sycamore Multi Coloured Yarn Bowl
This larger yarn bowl, which at 140mm in height and 190mm in diameter, is large enough to hold two 50gms balls of yarn, is ideal for the ambitious knitter requiring two balls at the same time or one larger Hank or skein.
Handmade by me from locally sourced Sycamore wood which is plain in colour and grain has benefitted from the addition of various bright colours in a random arrangement resulting in an attractive and unique piece. It has a durable protective semi-gloss cellulose finish. Being fabricated from wood it is more durable than those made from ceramic material.
The simple slot allows the yarn to be drawn from the centre of the ball without the irritation of tangles whilst keeping the material clean and immobile.
This would make an ideal gift for the enthusiastic knitter for any occasion or just to say thank you. It might even be nice to treat yourself. See this and similar items in my shop.
