Kumihimo chevron strip, looped and finished with a chrome magnetic clasp. the dark pink and mid blue colours give a 'purple' cast to the finished article.

I first started making items using Kumihimo techniquest quite by accident - I was looking for something else. Now, I find it's hard to stop making - it's so relaxing, and such fun. This one started out as a simple chevron strip, and I sort of doodled it into its current shape, adding a magnetic clasp for ease of fastening and unfastening. The design allows for any length from about 5" to over 7" if required. The loops can be 'sqidged' together or pulled apart to fit.
