Appreciating quiet moments in nature is what my work is all about.
The wild character of the Peak District with its windswept moors, rugged gritstone tors and escarpments provides a much needed space to breathe and reflect for so many people, myself included. My work is inspired by the sketches I make and the photos I take while I'm exploring there, or just gazing into the distance. I often revisit then same locations, trying to capture the changing moods of the landscape whatever the season or weather conditions.
I want you to be able to bring some of the quiet stillness of my art into your home, to remind you of the beauty and tranquility that you find in the Peak District.

Inspired by a love of the Peak District, this one of a kind landscape print represents that feeling of calm you experience when walking on the moors, where your mind can wander away from the stresses of modern life.
This monotype print is made by rolling etching ink onto a plate, then hand drawing and scraping the image directly into the ink. A single print is taken from the plate, making it completely unique.
