Full description
This gorgeous dragon waking from a deep slumber has been needle felted using woollen fibres. Core wool has been sculpted into shape using a barbed felting needle and a colour top coat added. The dragon has a green colour for his body with a yellow blend used for the spikes along his back and his facial highlights. The dragon has been felted over a wire armature making his body and legs slightly poseable although care should be taken not to move his pose too much as this will loosen the woollen fibres. The wings have been made using a green silk fabric overlaid with a gold coloured net and have been stitched into place. Black half pearls have been used for the eyes.
The dragon measures approximately 24cm x 24cm x 14cm as posed.
