Full description
This is a handmade patchwork hexagon quilt.
It has been entirely hand sewn together.
It can be used for either the bed or as a throw.
Made in the English paper paper piecing style quilting method using a variety of prints of quilting fabric from Japan by Lecien called Sugar flowers.
The binding is made from all the fabrics sewn together in strips, it is called a piano key binding.
The back is a cream fabric.
The three layers, top, wadding and backing fabric are tied together using some very beautiful 8 mm shell buttons in a variety of colours.
It is a single size quilt, but covers the top of a king size bed.
Size approximately 211 cms x 146 cms or 83 inches x 58 inches.
The wadding is heirloom quality 80% cotton 20% polyester
This quilt has been pre washed on a 40 degree wash using eco cover conditioner
