An extremely stylish Christmas print komebukuro made from Japan fabric and complimentary cotton.
The blue print is patterned with baubles of various shapes in shades of blue and metallic gold, and delicate snowflakes patterns also in metallic gold, with some blue accents. There are mid blue swirls the background linking the baubles and the snowflakes.
Inside is a bright mustardy yellow.
The rice bag, or komebukuro, is a drawstring bag that was traditionally made of scrap fabric to carry rice or other offerings to Japanese temples or shrines.
It measures approximately 12cm (4 1/2 inches) in height, width and depth. The Japanese fabric has been used to create the tabs to hold gold ribbon cord. The traditional tabs at the end of the cord have been crafted from Japanese fabric too.
This would make a lovely gift bag for someone special, is reusable and holds a lot given its size, as can be seen in the photos.
Pattern placement may vary.
Other fabrics available. Have a look at my other listings.
Please note that the accessories are for photographic purposes only.
Due to screen or monitor differences colours may vary slightly.
