Welcome to the Wonky Towers shop. In our shop you will find a variety of household items and gifts, mostly with an Eco-focus - things that can be used and reused without costing the planet or emptying your wallet. We use up scraps, repurpose materials and prioritise natural new materials. We love colour and our products are attractive, environmentally friendly and useful. We don’t want to be preachy - just to make things that are a pleasure to use.
If you spot something you’d like in a different colour combination or other feature, drop us a message and ask - many things are possible.
Postage: generally we only post to the UK. EU regulations prohibit us from posting to Europe and Northern Ireland. If you wish to order from other parts of the world we will consider this on a case-by-case basis. Our preference to have the delivery tracked will mean the cost may be prohibitive.

We’ve been looking for ways to reduce our use of plastics. Cellulose sponges in covers made of natural materials are another good step along the way.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
Here we have 2 washing up sponges. They are made from plastic-free, compostable, cellulose sponges, encased in a fabric case.
Sponge 1: Autumn leaves cotton on one side and a rough scouring surface on the other, made from hand-knitted jute.
Sponge 2: Fruity print cotton on one side and hessian on the other.
A great combination to tackle all your kitchen cleaning jobs.
If you prefer, the sponges can be used for personal hygiene - the hessian and jute do a good job of exfoliating and smoothing rough skin on feet or elbows.
