I love piling the glass high in the mould and then the hot kiln works its magic to smooth it into every corner and produce a lovely piece with lots of depth

Full description
This green glass cast heart has been made by filling a mould with lots and lots of clear and green glass of various shades and sizes before placing it in the kiln for 15 hours. It is then fused for a second time to permanently fix the decorative pieces to the top.
The heart, measuring 9cm by 9cm, is attached to clear glass and fixed to the inside edge of the white frame which measures 17.5cm by 17.5cm.
As you can see from the photos, you can display the heart without the back of the frame, especially on a window sill to maximise the light. However, I supply the complete frame which provides a white background should you prefer - this is shown in the last photo.
