Not a lot of blue seaglass is washed up on my local beach so this piece, with its fab size and colour, was always destined to be a pendant. Although the mount is Sterling silver, this pendant works either way round, probably depending on the event and outfit. I hope you enjoy

This stunning cobalt blue piece of seaglass was collected from Withernsea beach. It has a Sterling silver mount but can easily be used either way round. The black leather cord is 20 inch finished length but I have added a 3 inch extension chain finished with a Sterling silver flower charm, which can be easily removed if not required.
The glass measures approx 3.7x3.4cm at the widest parts and is approx 0.5x1.0cm in thickness.
I have found it hard to show the exact colour blue in the photos, but it is a lovely rich colour throughout the piece.
The sides are irregular but are well smoothed by the sea. The surface shows the scars of having been amongst the sand, stones and pebbles.
This is not a dressy pendant but its colour, size and textured surface will be a point for discussion, I am sure!
This will be dispatched using 1st class large letter post.
