This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
A Fairy Angel or rather a Fairyfly in my computer file, It is a cross between a butterfly and a fairy, not quite a fairy nor quite a butterfly.
I have made it in lovely shades of Red glass and is very pretty. The glass is shimmery as befits a fairy.
The fairy angel has flower beads for feet and is holding a star wand. Her hair is curly, just to be quirky.
The suncatcher is 13cm high by 9cm wide.
This is intended to be a fun item and it looks really lovely hanging in the window where it catches the light.
I originally designed this for my step daughter in law and had lost my design but when I saw the one I made for her as a birthday present I decided I really needed to make another so it is now in my catalogue and this is the latest version..
The suncatcher hangs from a little chain which is securely attached to the top of the curls.
This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass.
The last photo shows a Frolic of 5 Fairies in different colours which are also available here in my shop as separate listings.
