Please be aware that while I do my best to photograph colours accurately, different displays will have some variations.
I am pretty quick at posting out items, I can normally dispatch within 24 hours but it will never be longer than 72 hours.
My quilts will arrive well packaged (because I love them!) and most of my packaging is reused from parcels I have received.
If there is something you would like made, then I am happy to take commissions, please contact me with details of what you would like and I will get back to you within a couple of days.
When you sew, there are always offcuts and I save these in a bag - I don't like to waste anything. Every now and again I empty out the bag and make a scrappy quilt and I just like to see what happens when I start joining fabric together. I had lots of narrow strips which I joined first and that became roads and border. I joined a few bit up and decided it looked like a house and I quite liked it so I started making more! When I put the houses out together it was too dense to appreciate them, they needed spaced out, so I made fences and trees. There was loads of grey left as I often use a grey backing fabric, and so I made a wall... it looked like a sea wall so I added boats and sea.

50% of the purchase price will be donated to charities supporting the Ukrainian people.
This patchwork quilt was assembled from lots of different fabrics left over from other projects. It has every colour and many different patterns of fabric in it. The scraps have been assembled into brightly coloured house and trees; everyone is different. Chimneys and windows have been appliquéd on. Below the three rows of houses, a mixture of grey fabrics have been pieced to form a harbour wall and the bottom quarter of the quilt features two white boats in a sea of blues, greens and whites.
Separating the rows of houses are roads made of strips of fabric joined to form a brightly coloured striped road. The picture part of the quilt is framed by a thin yellow border and a striped border formed by many more strips of fabric. The binding is formed from many different fabrics.
This quilt has been machine quilted with cotton thread and the quilting emphasises the shapes in the picture.
The backing fabric is white with a green leaf pattern.
This quilt is 64" across by 70" tall. The fabric is 100% cotton, the wadding is 80% cotton and 20% polyester.
This quilt has been washed and can be machine washed on a gentle cycle and line dried.
Postage and packing is included.
