I have always had a love for the rotary dial telephone because of its sophisticated image and the nostalgia it brings. I saw this telephone at a museum I visited. I love yellow and even though I don't have the actual telephone, I couldn't resist reproducing it into a silkscreen print.

Yellow Retro Telephone - Handmade Silkscreen Print
This silkscreen print is handmade in my studio using the traditional screen print method of 'cut paper stencils' and hand pulling paint through a screen print frame in order to add layers of colour onto the image.
The paper size of this print is of 10 x 8 inch (approx. 25 x 20cm). The size of the actual artwork is approx. 22 x 17cm. Printed on 230gsm acrylic printmaking paper. There are 8 prints in this edition. One print will be supplied, unframed, numbered, titled and signed by the artist in pencil.
The item will be posted flat in a compostable cellophane sleeve, placed in between recyclable grey boards for extra protection and sealed in a board backed envelope. This item will also be posted using Royal Mail 2nd class 'Signed For' service.
