I take my inspiration for each piece from the stone itself and very rarely plan a design, I just let the wire decide where it wants to go.

Marston Marble is a conglomeration of tiny, rare ammonites (promicroceras, martonensis and ziphoceras) from the Jurassic Period, approximately 200 million years old.
This stone is an agate stone and has undergone the process of agatisation over the years and is currently only found at Marston Magna in Somerset England.
It has been shaped and polished by a talented UK lapidary artist.
I have wrapped and woven the setting for this beautiful fossil using solid copper wire to make this unisex pendant.
I oxidised the pendant to age the copper then hand polished it to this antique copper finish.
The pendant measures approx. 25 mm (1 inch) at the widest point and 50 mm (2 inches) to the top of the bail.
The pendant comes with a complimentary leather or cotton cord or you can upgrade to a matching copper chain.
Your pendant will arrive in a gift box and I am happy to gift wrap it for free – just leave me a note in the Note to seller box when you check out.

Copper jewellery will continue to darken over time but any excess tarnishing can be gently removed with a jewellery polishing cloth.
UK orders under £20 are sent 1st class, those over £20 are sent 1st class signed for.
