IMPORTANT CHANGE!
Due to yet another increase in Royal Mail prices I have reluctantly taken the decision to post my packages 2nd class from now on. However, a postage upgrade option is available in a separate listing.
I aim to dispatch purchases as quickly as possible.
As always, I am very happy to add a personal message from you and post directly to the recipient. Again please message me with your requirements when ordering.
My friend's husband kindly empties these bottles for me to use for crafting. I decided that they would make excellent head vases.

This Frida Kahlo bottle vase is perfect for displaying a dried flower or two, or even some fresh blooms. It is made from a small wine bottle for which I have crocheted a cover in 100% cotton yarn. The top knot is embellished with bright roses and leaves. Frida is wearing pretty earrings made from painted wooden beads and a glass seed bead. The cover is not removable therefore care should be taken when filling and emptying it.
The vase measures approximately 18 cm tall. The crochet cover is secured at the top by stitching it to a piece of grosgrain ribbon fixed to the opening of the bottle.
