This is only the second acro gym piece I've ever done - the first went to the Netherlands. I love the inventiveness of the balance routines and the mind boggling strength, flexibility and control they show. They make for fascinating shapes to work with and I plan to do more. The absolute key to a piece like this is working out the 'scaffolding'. You have to consider where and how to firmly join limbs together to ensure complete stability. The other part is size. Too large and they'll become unwieldy; too small and it's a struggle to get tools in between tiny gaps. These two are each around 12cm tall when standing up.
