These earrings remind me of the fire baskets used for navigation on the river before gas or electric light. I only make them occasionally because they are so fiddly but I love the way the settings let the light shine through the garnets.

Full description
Thames garnets collected on the foreshore and set in sterling silver cage settings. The earrings are roughly 5mm across and have sterling silver posts and butterfly.
