'Crofts on Granite' is an original Linocut print in two colours, inspired by the beauty of Scottish architecture.

Oil based relief inks on 270gsm high quality Bread and Butter cartridge paper.

I print using traditional printmaking methods; due to the nature of the print process all prints will have slight variation making them unique to you.

Paper size A4 (21cm x 29.7). Will fit a standard A4 frame.
Image size approx. 8cm x 15cm.
A small edition of 50 , signed, titled and numbered by the artist, me! The print you will receive may not necessarily be the edition number shown.
The print will be wrapped in tissue paper and sent in a protective brown tube or wrapped in tissue paper and protected in mountboard/pulpboard/cardboard for posting. Minimal plastic.

All prints are designed, carved and pressed by me.
I currently dispatch to U.K only.

Scotland! In particular Aberdeen and the areas in the North East where the buildings are predominantly made from locally quarried light-grey granite. The city has a distinctive character and even known as 'The Granite City'.
I grew up in Scotland and have a great fondness of everything Scottish hence it pops up often in my prints. Aberdeen was one of the cities where as I child we would often visit, this print is somewhat homage to that. It is a favourite of mine.
