This irritable owl is useful for anyone suffering from the sister complaint IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome ) It has space inside for a mint teabag (one included) and a strip or two of tablets (not included ) to help alleviate the symptoms. In fact, as soon as the pouch is opened the owl already looks less irritable and it is hoped the contents will help the symptoms 'Go away ' for a while.
The pouch is crocheted in cotton and has a wooden bead for a beaky fastening. It measures approximately 9 cm square. It comes wrapped in tissue in a labelled PIP ( Postage in Proportion ) box all ready to be given or posted on as a gift if required. ( Please example with a brown owl in the last photo. )

My grown-up son has suffered horribly from IBS for several years, so I am certainly not making light of the condition. He has discovered, much to his surprise, that the best relief for the griping pains is a cup of mint tea (brewed for 2 minutes according to advice.) He finds it useful to carry a teabag with him along with medication.
I have seen the Irritable Owl pun in various places and also the owl-shaped phone cases that people often crochet. The idea for this wallet was born of a combination of the above!
