I love being outdoors and seeing the fluid shapes especially in plants. The technique used to make copper leaves really lends itself to creating (by forging) these shapes from plain flat sheet metal.

Full description
These earrings sterling silver earwires with a fixed copper leaf. Fixing the leaf by carefully soldering the silver and copper together gives a slightly more contemporary feel than a more traditional dangle style.
The leaf itself is made by folding copper sheet, sawing it into a specific shape then repeatedly hammering it in a way which forces the metal to change shape. It is then carefully unfolded to give the final shape. The leaf has a brushed or satin finish which gives it a light rose gold colour. The edges and rear leaf vein have been burnished so they have a contrasting polished finish. These earrings are nice and light so easy to wear. No two pairs are the same due to the hand folding and forging technique used to make them, so each pair is truly unique.
The earrings are approx 3.5cm long in total.
The leaf is approx 2cm long.
