These little Bee brooches are handmade out of small log slices complete with bark edging. They are finished by hand and decorated with a small bee motif. Finally a metal pin clip is added to the back. They make a lovely little extra gift or something to easily pop in the post to cheer someone's day.

These pretty little natural wood brooches came about after my woodworking Dad who helps make all my wooden templates gave me some small slices left from a Christmas tree trunk he'd been using for a desk tidy. Instead of burning the narrow end he decided to slice it up and give it to me to see if I could come up with an idea. Then last month after returning to markets and listening to customers I felt I needed some smaller items on my stall as little treats for them to buy, I saw my little slices in the workshop and so the Bee brooch was born!
