Full description
This coastal landscape or seascape has been wet felted using a base of merino wool fibres. Various natural and synthetic fibres have been added to the surface prior to felting to add detail and texture to the picture. Once felted, hand stitching has been added to add further detail and accentuate the features. The felt picture has then been mounted, by means of stitching, onto a dark blue-black board. Finally 3 small natural sea shells have been added.
The felted picture measures approximately 8" x 6" (20cm x 15cm) with the backing board measuring approximately 10" x 8" (25cm x 20cm) ready for framing in a readily available frame. The frame shown is available for an additional cost to cover the frame and additional postage costs (see options). The frame includes a wall hanger and a stand alone prop. It will be framed unglazed allowing the texture of the picture to be displayed at its best.
