These pretty birds, whilst not native to Britain have become iconic in their presence in our beautiful countryside. I'm not too sure how often they sit up in Pear Trees but of course my reference was in connection to that famous Christmas carol. I love their colourful and beautiful markings and their shape as they move on the ground always makes me smile, as they shuffle busily about their days.

I created the original piece using beautiful Polychromos pencils onto crisp, white cartridge paper. The Limited Edition A4 print is a professional scan of this original and is printed at Giclee standard onto high quality Arcoprint FSC, acid free paper.
