These delicious earrings have been created using different shades of orange and brown glass beads to reflect the colours of honey.

The top and bottom beads have a marble effect running through them and the lovely pattern on the middle beads has been hand painted.

I have used a yellow tone seed bead to separate each of the larger beads to give it the effect of dripping honey.

The beads are hung from antique black coated hypoallergenic steel earring hooks, which come complete with a pair of silicone safety backs.

I think my delicious 'Honey' drop earrings look good enough to eat on a piece of warm toast, but probably best to wear them instead. With Summer on the horizon what better way to celebrate the wonders of nature.

As soon as I saw these beads I thought of honey.

The different marbling on some of the beads made me think about the bubbles we create and the patterns in the honey when we try to extract if from the jar.

The black hand painted markings made me think of burnt toast crumbs.

These thoughts escalated and I had the idea about the beads looking like dripping honey literally as I was in the queue waiting to pay.

I normally dislike queues, but this time it was a bonus!
