I spend good deal of my childhood growing up in the Southwest US. Walking on the mesas I would stumble across petroglyphs and the spiral was always a recurring theme. Over time I learned that the spiral is often associated with growth and development and learning and it felt natural to incorporate it into a piece of jewellery
