'Papaya Lady' is a sequel to my previous fruit portrait; 'Dragon Fruit Lady'.
The abstract style of this was achieved in Photoshop and gives it a trippy, psychedelic feel. In A3 the details of the face and the overlapping can really be seen and makes the portrait appear really interesting and bold. The blocky orange background contrasts with the detailed portrait to create a really harmonious, bold and completely unique style.

This trippy and exotic work of art is guaranteed to add a vibrant energy to any space. Behind these fruit portraits I really enjoyed the combination of portraiture along with the vibrancy of the tropical fruits. Not only to the blocky background make it stand out, but the addition of tropical elements made them really fun to paint.
