Patented by Hiram Codd in 1872 and manufactured until the 1930s Codd bottles used for carbonated drinks were often broken by children to retrieve the marbles inside. These are found in and around the Thames. If you are lucky you may find an intact bottle complete with its marble.

Full description

A lovely pale Aqua Codd bottle marble. Found on the Thames estuary and set in sterling silver. Choose your chain length via Options. The marble has some manufacturing marks and some wear and tear from rolling around with the tides as you would expect.
