On a cold and sunny winter’s morning, our daily walk took us through Queen’s Park in the south side of Glasgow. It was a hive of activity with everyone making the most of that rare combination of new snow and golden sun.
The frozen pond offered the bold an opportunity to slide and skate….to varying degrees of skill!
Steeper slopes converted to lines of sledging tracks, endless activity of speeding weaves and laborious trudges back to the top.
Strolling, jogging, sitting with coffee, walking the dog, talking to friends. Queen’s Park, for that moment, was a community together and appreciating the simple, beautiful things in life.
