Full description
This gorgeous merino wool, nuno felted scarf has been made using a rainbow blend of merino wool fibres nuno felted to both sides of a blue cotton cheesecloth base material. Included in Seconds Sunday as a clearance/end of line item.
The nuno felting process causes the woollen fibres to migrate through the cotton and bind with it. The underlying cotton provides a strong base allowing the woollen fibres to be added in an extremely fine layer resulting in a soft, warm, lightweight material. The fineness of the woollen fibres allow the underlying cotton cheesecloth to show through in places.
The resulting scarf is ideal to drape around the neck and shoulders or to wrap around the neck or tie in a knot as preferred. Perfect for a cool summer evening and equally as suitable on a cold winter day. The scarf measures approximately 172cm (68") x 33cm (13") and will arrive wrapped in pretty floral tissue paper making it an ideal gift. Perfect as a 7th wedding anniversary "woollen" gift or any other occasion. Full washing instructions and a short description of the nuno felting process are included.
Hand wash in warm water.
