This is the first time I've poured mouten pewter into the rim of a bowl, and I think it worked out pretty well. There's a tiny hairline flaw in the band (visible in the photos) due to how the metal cooled after pouring, but I don't think that it detracts at all from the look of the inlayed bowl. Contact me if you want any closer photos.
