UNIQUE: Handmade 'Cherry Blossom' Picture.

New to my range, Cherry Blossom has been designed to catch the light.
'Cherry Blossom' is made completely from glass which has been fused in my kiln. There is no enamel, glass paint or any other materials used, this picture is 100% pure bullseye fusing glass!
'Cherry Blossom' started as a sheet of bullseye glass. I then added the details by using a combination of coloured glass, frit glass and glass powder. To give it a little touch of sparkle I then added tiny bits of metallic dichroic glass onto the foreground.
The final stage of creating my glass picture was the firing. 'Cherry Blossom' was placed in my kiln and fired over night. To successfully fuse all the elements of this picture it was fired to 1400 F.
Frame: 18 cm square x 2.5 cm depth.
Picture: 14.5cm square x 6mm thickness (100% glass).
Cherry Blossom is designed to catch the light so would look great on a window-sill.
