Marbling directly onto bisque fired ceramic (sometimes called biscuit) is tremendous fun and seeing how the flat pattern from the bath transfers onto a 3d surface is always exciting. I thought that marbling would make a beautiful range of decorated eggs perfect for Easter. They'll last a lot longer than the chocolate ones too!

Full description
A pretty spring florals inspired double marbled bisque ceramic hanging Easter egg in a palette of purple, yellow and two greens. The colours swirls around the surface in a lovely sense of movement.
The egg has been given a coat of gloss varnish to seal and protect the surface and to really bring out the colours. There is a small metal wire hanging loop attached at the top and it hangs from a 4cm loop of deep purple 7mm wide satin ribbon which has been tied into a bow.
The ribbon can be re tied (or removed) if wished and the loop made bigger or smaller and the bow conversely made smaller or bigger.
Measuring 7.5cm long and 5cm wide this egg is also quite heavy at almost 50g.
A beautiful decoration for your Easter table or Easter tree!
Not suitable for outside use.
