Full description
A sterling silver pendant comprising of 2 pieces of contrasting silver. The front piece is a thin rod of sterling silver , which is black as a result of oxidisation. This is hung it in front of a flat, wider piece of sterling silver, which I have given a matt, frosted texture.
The 2 pieces together can move about freely and are designed so that the black rod stands out with the silver piece behind it . I also had in mind that the flat piece would protect the black rod piece from wear on the skin. It does have a matt sealer, but it will not stay perfectly black . As it wears, the silver will gradually show through the black. (I advise not to wear in the shower) but the change, in my opinion, will keep the piece interesting.( you can always post back to me for further oxidisation)
The pendant itself is 30mm/ just under 1.25 inches in length and the sterling silver snake chain is fine and of good quality. It is 18 inches/45cm long with a small round clasp.
Presented in a gift box made with recycled cardboard; tied with ribbon ready to gift and posted first class in plastic free packaging.
