Full description
This unique mid century style rectangular necklace is made from hand dyed anodised aluminium and framed with brushed aluminium. I have dyed the patterned piece in teal and printed with a silver mid century modern pattern, adding a yellow striped disc to give a pop of colour. I have made the frame from aluminium which I have saw pierced by hand and filed to give a nice smooth edge. Finally there is a plain rectangle of brushed aluminium on the rear of the piece and all three pieces are held tightly together by hand made aluminium rivets.
The rectangle measures approximately 45mm x 30mm and hangs from a sturdy sterling silver chain. The whole necklace measures 17" in total and has an extension chain which can lengthen the necklace to 18".
