Full description
This cheery head vase is perfect for displaying a dried flower or two, or even some fresh blooms. It is made from a small wine bottle for which I have crocheted a cover in 100% cotton yarn. The lady's top knot is embellished with colourful flowers that have tiny acrylic buttons for centres. She is wearing pretty earrings made from painted wooden beads and a glass seed bead. The cover is not removable therefore care should be taken when filling and emptying it. It can be rested upside down inside a pint glass to dry!
The vase measures approximately 16 cm tall. The crochet cover is secured at the top by stitching it to a piece of grosgrain ribbon fixed to the opening of the bottle.
