Spring is just around the corner (honestly!) and that means Mother’s Day here in the UK on 10th March. I’ve a large range of cards and gift ideas in my shop, if you’re looking for inspiration.
With their glossy black plumage, curved crimson-red bill and red legs, choughs are definitely the most glamorous and captivating members of the crow family. They feature on the Cornish coat of arms, proudly sitting on top of the crest flanked by a tin miner and fisherman. After an absence of 28 years, they returned to Cornwall in 2001, making their home on the rugged Cornish coast.
