My grandparents knitted and used these tea cosies all the time and growing up, even though I wasn't a knitter back then, I remember being intrigued at how they were made. Years later my mum passed on the original 1950s pattern to me, so now I can make my own.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Hand knitted in an original 1950s style, this cute tea cosy is guaranteed to keep your teapot hot.
The pleated design creates a lovely, almost padded cosy, in eye-catching pink and white stripes.
I've used both colours to make a speckled pompom on top.
This will fit a medium-sized teapot and measures approximately 7.5 inches (19cm) wide by 7 inches (17.5 cm) high, excluding the pompom.
