Welcome to my Art gallery shop.
I have these lovely pieces of wood and wondered what I can do with them. So the story started. I love painting and thus the butterflies were a natural fit for the wood.

Full description
A lovely set of earrings ready for Spring. A lovely blue/turquoise butterfly sits on a glossy white flower. - Each earring is an unique original painting.
- Varnished for protection.
- size of wood is 5.5cm
- overall length including the findings is 7.5 cm

The wood was sanded and shaped first. Next I have created the hand painted flower and butterfly in acrylic paints. The white flower is painted in pearl white; it reflects light in a "pearly" way. The last step was to varnish the wood and painting to protect.
The back of the wood carries a tiny initial of myself, the maker.
I've then finished off these beautiful earrings with jump rings and earring hooks with pretty detail.
Presented on a yellow card with butterfly design, my name and initial.
Packaged in a protected reinforced envelope.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
-All fixings are silver/gold plated, so are NOT sterling silver or gold Carat. Please take care if you have sensitive ears.
-I would not recommend getting the earrings wet, even with splashes, due to the delicate nature of the pieces, so please remove before showering, swimming etc.
-keep out of direct sunlight
-do not clean/scrub with any kind of chemical or abrasive
-please handle with care to minimize damage and breakages.
