Whilst visiting Borrowdale I came across a large flock of Siskins feeding on a bird feed in a garden. I took several photos and put this composition together using the photos as reference.

This painting was Inspired by watching Siskins in a garden whilst we were on holiday in Borrowdale. I took numerous photos and enjoyed painting them at home. 3 Siskins on a fence. Painted with artists gouache watercolours.
Mounted with a white mount and framed with a White frame.
