Cork fabric, also known as cork leather or vegan leather, consists of a layer of natural cork bonded to a fabric backing. It has a soft velvety texture and is durable and water resistant. The natural grain and colour variation of this fabric makes each item unique.
Produced in Portugal using bark harvested from native cork oak forests, cork fabric is a sustainable and environmentally friendly alternative to leather. The trees are allowed to regenerate after harvesting and can live for up to 200 years providing a haven for wildlife and supporting a traditional way of life.

Full description
Ladies cross body style handbag handmade from my own design using cork fabric and fully lined with cotton fabric. It has a zip closure and an inner zip pocket. The generous strap is adjustable allowing the bag to be worn as a cross body or shoulder bag.
The outer features a jungle leaf print on natural cork with a dark green base. The lining is a pale turquoise batik print with a contrasting darker sea green in the pocket and at the top.
Please note that the colour and pattern may vary slightly from the photos due to the natural variations in the fabric. Each bag is individually made and unique.
