I don’t get that much wood from the forest of Epping but as I live within the required distance I can exercise my ancient coppicing rights of collecting as much wood as I can carry on my back no thicker than my wrist every day of the year apart from Good Friday and Easter Monday. Funny these old laws but they have to be complied with and the City of London enforce them vigorously! So whilst walking I came across a new clearing and found several lengths of super Silver Birch and I’ve just started converting it into beautiful and useful things to share with all you discerning folks.

This is a pretty piece of Silver Birch from Epping Forest hand carved into this very handy Tasting Spoon and is great in non-stick pans, something extra special to be used daily to make your culinary experience even better.
