The blossom on a horse chestnut tree are quite tropical looking and initially I wanted to focus on them. I realised quickly though that the beauty of a horse chestnut tree in bloom is looking at it in its entirety hence this print! This is only a 3-colour print so it was great to work with just a small number of colours and be quite adventurous with the colour combinations!

Full description
A hand-pulled screen-print called ‘Horse Chestnut Blue’. MISPRINT! These all have a faded patch as pictured - it doesn't take over from the print!
It is hand-printed by myself using System 3 inks on 300gsm paper.
The print measures approx 30.5 x 40.5cm. It will have a border of just over an inch. When mounted this will look good in a standard 20x16" frame (that sometimes come with a mount included). This print will be signed and named on the bottom although please note this might be obscured if you use a standard frame with a mount already supplied.
The interior shot is for illustration purposes only - frame not included.
It will be rolled in a tube and sent 2nd class recorded delivery.
Please note that the colours may vary slightly due to the lighting during shooting this photo or the monitor’s display. Each one is slightly different, due to the nature of screen-printing.
