Item details
Cork fabric, also known as cork leather or vegan leather, consists of a layer of natural cork bonded to a fabric backing. It has a soft velvety texture and is durable and water resistant. The natural grain and colour variation of this fabric makes each item unique.
Produced in Portugal using bark harvested from native cork oak forests, cork fabric is a sustainable and environmentally friendly alternative to leather. The trees are allowed to regenerate after harvesting and can live for up to 200 years providing a haven for wildlife and supporting a traditional way of life.
