Full description
Beautiful grey Shetland and silk scarf. I first dyed the fibre and then hand spun it on my spinning wheel into yarn and finally woven on my rigid heddle loom.
Warped with a selection of commercial yarns to add texture and that rustic feel, also interspersed with small beehive spins. Long fringes add to the boho wild and windswept high moors feel of this scarf.
Measures 55 inches or 140cm without the fringe and is 10 inches or 25cm wide.
Very cool hand wash and lay flat to dry as pure wool and will felt if hot water is used.
