Hello! Welcome to my Folksy Art Shop.
I am a UK based artist living in the West Midlands where I produce the original linocut prints and paintings. My work is inspired by all the lovely places I have travelled to and collected photo's and memories of over the years. Nature and landscape are 2 of my biggest inspirations.
I graduated from Birmingham Polytechnic in Graphic Design back in 1988 and have practised my art ever since. For a number of years I specialised in pen and ink drawings but over the past few years I have explored other media, and I'm always open to trying new materials and art forms.

I was fascinated by the bold shapes of the long dry stone wall and how it echoed the distant hills and the crescent of the coastline.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Full description
This is an original hand pressed limited edition linocut print of the coast path to Claigan Beach near to the village of Dunvegan on the Isle of Skye, Scotland.
I pressed this print at home using the back of a spoon and my hand.
This is the 3rd in an edition of 8 prints. As this is a reduction linocut print there will be no other original prints made from this plate, which was destroyed during the printing process.
This artwork is printed in Schmincke Aqua Linoldruck Linoprint Ink (Water Based) on Fabriano Artists Paper 160g.
The print measures approx 6 x 4 inches and the paper size is approx 7 1/8 x 5 1/8 inches (A5).
The print will come unframed and unmounted.
I will mail it out to you in a cellophane packet with a small signed Certificate of Authenticity.
I will post it out to you in a board backed envelope and I will send it 1st class Royal Mail Standard Delivery or Standard International Delivery if sending overseas.
If you would like a special delivery service, for instance guaranteed delivery by a certain time, or if you would like me to send your item tracked and signed for, please send me a message and I will get a quote for you for the extra postage cost.
