Welcome to my Shop! Every piece here is unique, one of one.
I work with porcelain and stoneware from my small studio in London. My work is hand-built, then painted with slips and underglazes using brush strokes and splatters which are not entirely abstract. Most pieces are glazed in a transparent gloss which draws out the colours and contrast.
At present I am learning to 'raw glaze' so each piece only goes through firing once, rather than twice, thus reducing the carbon footprint! Ask me if you'd like to see this raw glazed work.

I make these soap dishes as a sustainable and stylish alternative to plastic soap dispensers.
This particular dish is the first of a new series of soap dishes I have created. It has been thrown on the wheel and then altered. As I build on earlier work I am improving stability in my soap dish range, with an eye to strong form and usability.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Full description
This unique hand painted flecked stoneware soap dish, designed with simplicity and stability in mind. The form is a shallow rectangular bowl, reflected in the curved footer below and includes a single drainage hole.
I have painted this piece with black slip a beacon standing tall against the landscape. It is glazed glossy transparent.
