This one of a kind textile brooch is an individual small woven tapestry. You can wear it with a variety of outfits, or to decorate a shawl or bag. It would make a lovely gift or a treat for you to treasure.
This special brooch was woven by hand on a tiny loom, using threads, yarns and narrow strips of cloth.
The brooch measures 3 x 3.5 cm approx. (1.2 x 1.4 inches approx.) and weighs 2 grams (0.07 oz). It is backed with a tiny piece of handmade felt.
This listing is for the single brooch shown alone. It comes mounted on white card. Postage to the UK is free and the item will be sent 2nd class signed for. Orders to the US will be sent by International Tracked delivery.
Inspiration
This brooch is inspired by reflections on the sea at sunset on the Isle of Tiree, in Scotland, where I lived for 10 years before coming to Wales.
