Welcome to my Folksy shop. I love British wildlife and nature, and these are the inspiration behind my designs.
I create original textile art using a combination of fabric appliqué, freehand machine embroidery and hand embroidery.
The designs are scanned by my local printer, and digitally printed onto coasters, placemats, tea towels, tote bags and greetings cards. I also make handmade cards and beautiful hanging decorations for your home.

My designs are inspired by British wildlife. I create them using a combination of appliqué and freehand machine embroidery. The designs are then scanned and digitally printed on coasters and greetings cards, and are all listed on my Folksy shop.
When a handwritten envelope is found on the doormat, the receiver often recognises the sender’s hand; the strokes of a pen as individual as finger prints. You instantly feel connected, thought-about, loved.
It is a great tradition in the UK to send cards and display them in our homes, particularly on special occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries and when something out of the ordinary has happened.
To me, the most special cards are the ones we receive out of the blue. The ‘just thinking of you’, or ‘saw this and thought of you’ cards. The thought that went into the card decision … based on the person that knows you, a shared experience, or a moment of empathy…
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
This is a gift bundle, to send to someone to let them you you are thinking of them. I can post directly to the recipient, and hand write the greetings card with your own personalised message. The coaster will be wrapped in grey tissue paper, and tied up with eco raffia ribbon.
There is a choice of 5 designs; Barn Owl, Hare, Common blue butterflies, Kingfisher or Sheep & lamb.
Coaster details:
100 x 100mm square melamine coaster.
Manufactured with a digital print of an original appliqué and embroidered design.
Melamine finish (manufactured with a sustainably sourced Eucalyptus board base).
Backed with hard-wearing cork.
3.2mm thickness board.
Matt finish.
Designed and manufactured in Britain.
The melamine coasters have a full melamine surface; Melamine is an extremely durable product, able to withstand temperatures of up to 140 degrees; is easily wiped clean (no dishwashers please!), and with very little care will give you many years of service.
