Sunflowers are my favourite flower and we all need cheering up at the moment, so I set about constructing this blanket with yarns from my store. Watching the flowers take shape and the soothing rhythm of crochet has been very therapeutic during these trying times.
I originally made this for myself but I have a young Jack Russell with a penchant for chewing woolly items, so I think it is safer, now I have had the fun of making it, to put this lovely blanket up for sale for someone else to enjoy!

Full description
Gorgeous hand crocheted small blanket/lap blanket comprising individual "sunflower" granny squares joined to form a cosy blanket measuring 108 x 147 cm (42.5" x 58") (approx).
The yarns used are a cheery and eclectic mix of wool, quality acrylic, cotton and mixed fibres in shades of yellow, orange and green with black and brown centres. A border of leaf green and mustard yellow is added to unify the whole.
This is an ideal size to use as a small throw on your favourite chair or to wrap round you as a comforting lap blanket. It would also be ideal as a baby blanket or pram cover.
