Full description
This striking pendant is handmade from copper wire & features an 8mm round Unakite bead. I've formed the main frame from thicker wire, with a curl at the bottom to hold the bead & a spiralled section at the top. This frame has been hammered flat & then finer wires have been woven around inside it with a stripey pattern.
Unakite is an unusual shade of green, with pinky-orange patches - it looks really pretty with copper. It spins freely in it's setting - perfect if you like to play with your jewellery! The finished pendant has been oxidised to bring out the lovely antiqued copper colour, & then lightly polished to highlight the hammered copper sections & the detail in the weave.
It comes with a 2mm thick waxed black cotton cord, complete with handmade fastenings. The cord length is approx. 40cm but I can supply a different length if required - please let me know your preferred length via the 'choose options' button.
The pendant itself measures 4cm long from top of bail & just over 2.5cm across at the widest point. It will be posted out first class, in a 100% recycled (& reusable!) gift box, within a recycled polythene bag.
